The English Ransom
An entourage from England arrived earlier to the French court, bringing unexpected terms in relation to the English capture of Joan Of Arc. Instead of executing Joan Of Arc, the English have brought us terms in which they are willing to release Joan Of Arc back to France in return for a large sum of gold. The price for Joan Of Arc, while undoubtedly a steep one, would restore morale to our court and troops that has been lost since her capture.
