The Sea Venture
The first purpose-designed emigrant ship, designated to replenish the colonies in Southern New England has wrecked on the island of Bermuda, marooning the sailors and colonists. They face a choice between remaining, or an attempt could be made to collect them using a second ship, which in turn would ferry them onwards to complete the original mission of the Sea Venture.

16258historical_info = flavor_eng.162.historical_info The Sea Venture was a resupply vessel headed for the Jamestown colony in Virginia along with eight other ships. It was sent by the Virginia Company in 1609 carrying supplies and settlers to the struggling settlement. The ship got separated from the rest of the fleet following a hurricane and was heavily damaged and became shipwrecked on the island of Bermuda, which was uninhabited at the time. After nearly a year after being stranded in Bermuda, the survivors of the Sea Venture managed to construct two new ships and arrived in Jamestown. Their arrival was crucial for the survival of the colony.
