In the face of continued hostilities with the France, Ruler has decided to close all of the alien priories in Country. Every aforementioned Monastery was under the control of French religious houses, and their continued existence is seen as a threat to the security of the realm. The priors and monks who served these houses will be expelled, and the priories themselves are to be dissolved.
With the revenues from these priories no longer flowing to France, there is an opportunity to redirect them to support Country Adjective religious houses. Alternatively, these revenues could be seized by the Crown, helping to fund the ongoing war effort.
