One of our most celebrated and popular rulers of the past century is none other than Jalālat. Commemorated as the first female Muslim ruler of India, she is famed for her administrative abilities. Many of the Nobility who initially resisted her move to the throne, ended up either being persuaded or outright stripped of their power.
