Though recent generations saw the growing decline of Cahokia as the main hub of trade throughout the Eastern Woodlands, in recent times that decline has shifted to a gradual resurgence. Through the efforts of Our Ruler, Cahokia with its resurging population and infrastructure projects, has attracted peoples from varying distant tribes to once again return to Cahokia to engage in regional trade.
