Our rule in the Jiāozhǐ province is not appreciated by the local population which much preferred home rule under the Trần dynasty. Many of them have therefore rallied under the banner of Target Character, who promises them a return to the traditional Đại Việt rulership.

660historical_info = flavor_chi_dai.ho_quy_ly_historical_info Turn of the 15th century saw the fall of the Trần to the hands of one of their ministers, Hồ Quý Ly. The coup was followed by a war with the Míng, where the Chinese were able to establish rule in Vietnam under the province of Jiāozhǐ. This occupation lasted until 1428, when the Chinese army was forced to withdraw after years of struggle with Vietnamese Uprisings.
