Rebellion of Target Character
After many years of trying to integrate the Vietnamese culture, we must conclude that this effort has not been as successful as we had hoped. Recently, another rebellion has been launched, this time by an upstart called Target Character. Unfortunately, the rebellion has found great success in defeating our local garrisons. Perhaps we might want to put this occupation to an end.

The coup was followed by a war with the Míng, where the Chinese were able to establish rule in Vietnam under the province of Jiāozhǐ. This occupation lasted until 1428, when the Chinese army was forced to withdraw after years of struggle with Vietnamese Uprisings.
