Inquisitor Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition
In recent times a faction of our Clergy lead by Inquisitor Torquemada has gained more and more power in our Court Title. Inquisitor Torquemada himself has a close relationship to Target Character since before his/her ascension to the throne and carries considerable influence. If we were to task Inquisitor Torquemada with upholding the Catholic religious orthodoxy in Country, we could establish an institution that ensures the Catholic rule over Iberia for the next centuries. Although there are some reports of the fanatical zealousness this faction displays at times, angering them could have dire consequences as well.
