Although a short-lived Thessalonica Flavor Rank and vassal state of the old Constantinople, the rulers of Thessalonica wielded strong political power within the Constantinople before it was destroyed by Scope Theodoros Doukas in 1224.
Although ceremonial claims to the title have continued under the Achaea Country, recent conquest of the territory belonging to the old Thessalonica Flavor Rank by Country have left some in the Court Title feeling that we should instead claim this title for ourselves to further strengthen our claim as successors to the Constantinople.
