Although Constantinopolitan rule over Greece has seen a decline of the former Greek elite, in some areas of Country, members of older Greek families have maintained a grip on power by compromising with Culture Nobility. However, since the fall of the Constantinople, members of the Greek populace have grown more resistant to Culture rule.
Seeking a more stable reign, Scope Ruler has invited members of remaining Greek families in Country to the Court Title to work out a compromise. However, some Culture Nobility have instead pushed for further expansion of their rights over the Greek populace, arguing that a stronger Culture elite would clamp down on Greek unrest.
