The Target Location Earthquake of Current Year
During the last few days an earthquake beyond comparison has struck Target Location! The force with which this event struck was far greater than what we are used to experiencing and the citizens of Target Location have suffered greatly under the disaster. Many are buried in the rubble of buildings, with even more losing their home and shelter. Without reinvestment Target Location would certainly take decades to recover properly and we should take proper care of the affected area.

On the 1st of November 1755, the ground suddenly started to shake and the buildings started caving in. For those that survived it was far from over as fires flared up in the city, supported by heavy winds. Thousands of people would fall victim to the grand tidal wave reaching land just a few minutes later. The death count was estimated between 20,000 and 40,000 people at the time and given all elements the explanation punishment by God was a view widely spread both in Portugal and elsewhere.
