The Rāfiḍa
Followers of the Shiite faith - those we call the Rāfiḍa, who reject Muslim authority and leadership, who do not recognize 'Abū Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthmān as successors of the prophet Muḥammad, may peace be upon him - have made their presence known in our provinces and attracted others to join them. They even call themselves Rawāfiḍ - those who refuse - and pride themselves of having always rejected evil, not turned towards it.
