The Italian influence within the Target Location Rank of Target Location has started to dominate local trade. The only merchants people want to trade with are ones who have their headquarters back in Italy, leading to much of our riches slipping from our grasp, as we cannot properly exploit this wealth. However, these practices do have some benefits, mainly the ability for the nation to sell its riches, albeit not at ideal prices. But such transactions could also lead to a decline in the authority that Target Character holds, perhaps leading to increased reliance on these Italian merchants.
