The Fate of the Feast of Fools
The traditional practice of the Feast of Fools, where regular people elect a mock-bishop to parade through the street, has been heavily criticized by our Clergy. They accuse it as a subversion of our authority and claim that abuse of swapped roles is rampant. Peculiarly, this is also a stance taken by some Lutheran reformers. If we would condemn the practice with an official degree signed by the Catholic Church Leader Title, we could show our willingness to adapt to the reformist movement gripping Europe, while appeasing our own Clergy
