Although prepared for a difficult civil war, the tensions in the court and the constant betrayals at the hands of the Nobility have left Target Ruler in a state of mental distress. Eventually, the mental exhaustion has proven to be too much for him/her, and Target Ruler has been to abdicate, making Target Pretender the legitimate ruler of From Country.
