It is at times such as these, when our country is characterized by relative tranquility, that we are reminded to look at those who are less fortunate. The recent crop yields have been neither failures nor great successes and as a result, most have food and the state has ample grain supplies. There are, however, still some unfortunate souls who have not got enough food to feed themselves. Is it in times like these where we have to keep in mind the most the Dāna, the act of charity and giving of alms according to the Country Adjective teachings.
