スコットランドの伝統の統一
北部の農村高地の部族は何世代にもわたり、ゲール人のアイデンティティを維持してきた。一方、低地の部族は大部分が独自のスコットランド文化を発展させている。双方の慣習は異なるものの、高地と低地の部族はその違いを脇に置き、スコットランドを脅かす外国勢力と戦う。
