Cessation of Church Functions
Several members of the Nobility have come before Target Ruler with a proposal. Desperate for more lands and titles, they look with envy towards the Clergy, who own considerable land. They ask that we transfer Church land to them in return for a large cash contribution to the Country's efforts. Of course, in the long term, we would lose out on tax revenues from Church lands in return for this short-term boost in revenue.
