Parliamentary Traditions
One of the more difficult things about being a parliamentarian has less to do with the debates in Capital, but more with how to sell the debates and compromises to the people back home. Still, a local Parliament member will often have an easier time explaining a new tax than would a collector sent by the central government in less representative systems.
It seems that the Parliament members in general, and the ones from Target Location in particular, have become so adept at defending policies that we have seen a resulting rise in the support of the central government as a whole.
