Upper Bavaria Confirms old Treaties
The Treaties of our dynasty signed in 1329 in Pavia have been once again confirmed by Upper Bavaria. Honoring the treaty seems to be the most beneficial course of action for us, but we might be able to claim the lands held by our relatives in Upper Bavaria.

78historical_info = flavor_wittelsbach_house_union.1.historical_info The Treaty of Pavia of 1329 was the foundation of the separation of the House of Wittelsbach into the Bavarian and Palatine lines, which ruled over the Wittelbacher territories respectively. In addition to the split between the two branches, the treaty also attempted to solve the question of the Electorship. While the initial rule was an alternation of the electorate between the Palatinate and the Duchy of Upper Bavaria the role of elector was later confirmed to stay with the Palatinate of the Rhine. The Treaty also included an agreement that either dynastic line would fall into the hands of other if the current ruler had no direct male heirs.
