The Unsavory Influences on Target Ruler
Target Ruler has felt quite poorly of late, and has come to appreciate the company of various people who seem more interested in their own gain than the welfare of our Flavor Rank. Foremost among these is a man/woman called Cinci Hoca, a self-proclaimed spiritualist and healer who many among the Clergy dismiss as a charlatan. But the Ruler Title wants to elevate him to a high position, and do likewise for others of the power-mongers that surround him/her.

He quickly fell under the influence of his powerful mother, Kösem Sultan, as well as a host of unsuitable people who were eager to manipulate him. These included the lady-in-waiting Şekerpare Hatun, the admiral Silahdar Yusuf Pasha, and Cinci Hoca, a charlatan and witch doctor who claimed to be able to cure the sultan's ailments. This group eventually gained tremendous influence.
