Swe Per Brahe Older
Our councilor Swe Per Brahe Older has distinguished himself/herself in countless ways, and the time for recognizing his extraordinary service is long overdue. We should reward his loyalty with some significant promotions—elevating him in both the peerage and the government will be even more of a boon to Country than it is to him and his family.

322historical_info = flavor_swe.6.historical_info Per Brahe the Elder was a Swedish statesman and nephew of King Gustavus Vasa. Brahe was highly regarded by the King and distinguished himself during the Dacke feud. He acted as Governor of Stockholm Castle from 1540 and was awarded a place in the Privy Council in 1544. At the coronation of King Eric XIV in 1561, Brahe was made Count of Visingsborg, and the accession of King John III saw him appointed the Lord High Justiciar of Sweden as well as Governor of Norrland.
