The Regency Question
Before dying, our previous ruler laid out careful plans for the coming regency with the goal of preserving policies that favor lower estates and limit aristocratic domination. The chosen Active Regent Title has sworn to follow these plans to the letter, which will certainly displease the Nobility. If we were to replace the chosen Active Regent Title's supporters with those holding more 'flexible' views about fulfilling the wishes of a dead ruler, it would win us approval from the Nobility, which could be to our advantage.

Soon after he was dead, however, the Council and the House of Lords managed to replace two of his closest supporters, Prince Adolf Johan and Herman Fleming, with the more pliable Lars Kagg and Gustav Bonde.
