Swe Axel Oxenstierna Last Name's Regency
No regency council ever truly serves the Flavor Rank interests purely, but our current council has put the realm in an untenable situation. Ministers loyal to the Ruler Title have had to work harder than ever to convince others to put aside their own self-interest. If left unchecked, these ravenously greedy aristocrats pose a serious threat to our Ruler Title, and therefore the entire nation. Appeasing them may have consequences, but making some concessions now could help prevent a coup later.

The brilliant administrator kept the nation running smoothly, but the aristocratic tendencies that had been kept in check by the late king were unleashed in full by the high lords of the regency, to the great detriment of the lower classes and the Crown. One of the other five regents was Carl Carlsson Gyllenhielm, bastard brother to Gustavus and high admiral of the realm. Of the lot, he was the least concerned with personal wealth and privileges.
