A Language Bible
A group of Calvinist scholars has finished a translation of the Bible into Language, thus creating the Target Art. The scholars have worked from the most original sources known and there is no doubt this is a fine work. The prospect of an even greater accessibility to Calvinist ideas for the Polish population is, however, a frightening idea. Calvinism has already established its grip over some of our Nobility, threatening to undo the tranquil status quo of our faith.

As the first complete Polish translation of the Bible from the original Hebrew and Greek texts, it reflected both the linguistic ambitions and religious fervor of the Calvinist movement. More than a theological work, it was a cultural achievement that contributed to the development of Polish literary language. Though the Counter-Reformation would later see its suppression, the Brest Bible remains a powerful symbol of religious pluralism and noble patronage during a transformative era in the Commonwealth's history.
