Founding of the Target Location Monastery
To the north in the Bay of Onega, there are a group of islands, the Solovetsy, known for the richness of their saltworks, among other resources. Recently, two monks, Herman and Savvatiy, have established in this remote place a monastery. Another monk, named Zosima, has come to us asking for pious patronage.
This monastery could become an important religious center in the White Sea if we back Zosima as its hegumen or abbot, and fund its development.
