His most renowned work, Dell'Istoria della Sacra Religione et Illustrissima Militia di San Giovanni Gierosolimitano, was published in 1594. This monumental chronicle provided an extensive account of the Order's origins, its role in the Crusades, its struggles against the Ottomans, and its establishment in Malta.
