Once a divided sect of tribes, under the campaign for the Great Law of Peace by the Great Peacemaker, the five nations formed the united league of the Haudenosaunee. Born in hopes of establishing a permanent peace and cooperation between the tribes, the league has grown to see each of the tribes, despite differing cultural background to form a close sense of brotherhood.
