Transylvania is an area rich in raw materials and potential minerals. Sadly it is lacking in skilled workforce to exploit these to their full potential. Thankfully for our purposes, German migrations into Transylvania are not uncommon and with some minor persuasion we could convince even more people to seek fortune in the mountains of Carpathia.
