Having been staunch supporters for a independent Country Adjective Catholic Church, largely independent from the Holy See, many strong Gallican voices throughout the government have offered condemnation for support for Unigenitus while also voicing support for many Jansenist followers. Seeing the implementation of the Unigenitus as a means to strengthen the papacy influence over the Flavor Rank, many Gallican members of the Clergy have signaled they would greatly oppose the Crown in future endeavors should the Unigenitus ultimately become the law of Country.
