The Unigenitus Bull and Jansenism
Following a previous request by France Previous Ruler to Pap Ruler, the Unigenitus papal bull was granted in hopes of clamping down on the growing Jansenism, a doctrine based on the teachings of Saint Augustine. Although the papal bull has long since been issued, the death of France Previous Ruler and not codifying it as the law of Country have only seen followers of the doctrine grow in strength since the rule of Fra Ruler. However, growing pressure amongst anti-jansenists ministers has renewed discussion on formalizing the bull as law, although the now large following may make the task difficult.
