Initially a ballet born out of the passion of Fra Ruler for Court Title ballet, the Ballet de la Merlaison has attracted much praise from the Court Title as well as visiting Nobility. Visitors to the ballet have often praised the commitment of Fra Ruler to the play, noting from his/her participation in playing various roles to his/her contribution to the designing of the costumes for the cast. Others have gone on to mention the play as one of the greatest across all of Europe.
