The Campaign for Milan
While relations between France and Milan began cordially, Ruler Mlo has viciously backstabbed Ruler Fra following our invasion of Naples. Despite honoring Ruler Mlo calls to prevent Neapolitan seizure of Milan, Ruler Mlo hoped to claim the Naples for himself following a successful campaign by France. Having proven themselves untrustworthy, advisors in the court have petitioned Ruler Fra to claim the Milan in his/her capacity as the new ruler of Naples while also overthrowing Ruler Mlo in the process. It would also ensure that Milan cannot form an effective coalition in the aftermath of our invasion of Naples.
