A Contested Succession
The ascension of Ruler Fra to the throne of France has proven a difficult task. The crowning of Ruler Fra has come at a time when France itself has seen a large portion of it seized by the English. These military conquests have caused some of our subjects who sit on the border with English occupied territories to allegedly pay lip service to the English monarch, and even see them as the rightful rulers of France. Rumor even has it that there are those in the court who would rather have Ruler Eng be the ruler of France over Ruler Fra. For the foreseeable future, Ruler Fra and those in his/her line will have a problematic time cementing their rule, as the ruler of France.
