The Eden Agreement
Negotiators at the request of Target Character of England have arrived to the Country Adjective court in hopes of signing a new commercial treaty. While relations between England and Country have always remained tense, Target Character has offered a path to reconcile ties between the two states with the proposal of the Eden Treaty.
Should the court agree, England and Country will enter a closer commercial relationship that would see trade relations deepen. Members of the court have however offered skepticism as the treaty could be a ploy to make English trade influence more dominant.

It was in keeping with the argument made by the economist Adam Smith in his The Wealth of Nations (1776) that England should be less economically dependent on trade with America and become more adventurous in exploring trading opportunities in continental Europe.
