Bertrand Guesclin, having proven himself a capable leader time and time again, some in the royal court have suggested that Bertrand Guesclin be bestowed the Title of Constable, the chief military leader of France. However, many in the Nobility while they harbor respect for Bertrand Guesclin would be opposed to granting him the office of Constable due to his lowborn status as the title has been reserved for leaders of noble bearing.
