The Defecting Forger
Ever since his forgeries at Artois, Robert D Artois has been a wanted fugitive of France. His accomplice —a forger was burned at the stake, but he managed to escape to the territories owned by our neighbors across the sea. As a noble, we attempted to spare his life, but his actions have made him a threat that we can no longer ignore. If left alive, he could spread malicious rumors, leak secrets, and expose the workings of our court. England will not be too pleased with us assassinating their guest, but it may well be a price worth paying for the safety of knowing that a dead man holds no grudges.

He initially held the title of Court of Artois, but was later exiled after his inheritance papers were discovered to be a forgery.
