The Great Compromise
An agreement has been reached following extensive negotiations between Ruler and representatives of Parliament. In this accord, the Ruler Title sees his/her influence reduced in exchange for increased support in legislative matters. Any cabinet members representing the Church will also be dismissed and barred from serving, however the Ruler Title retains the right to appoint members of the Clergy.
