Roman Permission for Higher Education
Rome Ruler graciously offered a papal bull to our Ruler Title, granting us the ability to expand our educational institutions in Copenhagen. With this support, we can create a strong case to expand our faculties in Country and establish a new hub for the well-educated people of our country.

152historical_info = flavor_dan.2.historical_info King Christian I of Denmark founded the University of Copenhagen in 1479, with the approval of a papal bull. The university became a center of Roman Catholic Theology, but also had faculties for the study of Law, Medicine, and Philosophy. The university was dissolved between 1531 and 1537 due to the effects of the Protestant Reformation in Denmark, but became a Protestant University under King Christian III again.
