Many ordinary citizens of Target Location look with envy and jealousy on the lives of the palace eunuchs. Excellent living conditions, closeness to the Ruler Title, and many opportunities in life are just a few advantages that they have over ordinary citizens. The life of a Eunuch seems so promising that many of the poorer dwellers of Target Location are willingly getting themselves castrated so as to enter into the palace service in the Court Title.
