The death of Dead Character has left Country without a leading chancellor to take care of the courtly matters. It would seem that there is a natural successor though, for his nephew, Recipient, is a skilled statesman, who would be fit for the role. Many do fear his appointment though, for Dead Character's tenure was absolute and brutal, and many are worried that Recipient could follow in his uncle's footsteps.
