Despite the Enlightenment creeping upon Country, many of our laws have been outdated, specifically Nueva Recopilación. Seeing that, Target Character wishes to rid any traditionalist ideas, rewriting them to stray away from Roman canon law. This would help educate the masses, teaching them more than just the Country Adjective faith that has been dominating our legal system.

Instead, it was a stepping stone for the unification of Castile and Aragon within the Spanish realm. Implemented in 1805, these laws would be the study of any legal cases within Spain, but it would not be as modern as the rising Napoleonic Code at the time.
