Due to the different regions that Country occupied, each one of them has a different set of laws, independent from that of the Crown. This has caused many legal problems, such as the mistreatment of many Commoners from the Nobility. Target Character wishes to remedy that by compiling all of these laws into one, the Nueva Recopilación.

It is for that reason that the Cortes held in Madrid in 1534 determined the need to clean up and restructure it. It was not until 1567 that this legal compilation was sanctioned and approved by King Philip II, making it possible for all the courts of justice in the Crown of Castile and the American Viceroys to apply a more systematic legislation, lasting for more than two centuries.
