Having bought Neumark all these years ago, we were not able to successfully stomp the issues permeating the province. Instead, the only benefit we have stood to gain from the area is it standing as our rallying point for mercenaries arriving from the West.

Under the rule of the Order, the province remained impoverished and the Master of the Order, after trying to sell it to Poland, managed to sell it back to Brandenburg in 1455 as part of the Treaties of Cölln and Mewe.
