The ecumenical talks between the Lutheran and Calvinist faiths have been somewhat successful. While they certainly have led to greater sense of unity in the Protestant world, much of our Country Adjective Clergy remains intolerant and contrarian to the idea. As per the issued edict, the mutual criticism of the Lutheran and the Calvinist churches have been banned much to the discontent of the established Lutheran clergy, who were furious about the Calvinist Elector's encroachment against the state Church.
