Sanssouci Palace
The Ruler Title has been jubilant ever since the construction of his/her summer palace was completed and the vision of Target Character realized. Provided that Target Character is not involved in the most pressing matters of state he/she will spend his/her Summer days in the new residence, entertaining the brightest minds of our era, be it over political debate or philosophical discussion. The social elite of Country are very impressed by this new palace and will be interested in spending their time from now on in the immediate area around Potsdam Province.

3405historical_info = flavor_brapru.1401.historical_info The Palace of Sanssouci was built in the Prussian Rococo style between 1745 and 1747 at the order of the Prussian king Frederick 'the Great'. Located on top of a hill covered with vineyards, the palace offers the residents an extensive view of Potsdam and the surrounding area. Compared to its peers in Versailles or Saint Petersburg, Sanssouci with its single-story design only has 10 rooms including staff rooms. The purpose of the Summer Palace, where Frederick spent his time from April to October, was to evoke a sense of intimacy and act as a place of retreat for the king. The little vineyard house as Frederick lovingly called it, was a passion project of the king personally and after his death at age 74 in an armchair at Sanssouci, the palace fell out of the spotlight in favor of new palaces, constructed in the neoclassical style.
