With the Reformation sweeping our lands, we will need to tackle the important issue of education, now that the old Catholicism Institutions are refusing to work with us. To this effect we should lay the foundation for a brand new University in our city of Königsberg, attracting important members of the Reformation and educating our people according to the principles of our new faith.

To this effect, the University of Königsberg was founded in 1544. Being located outside of the borders of the Holy Roman Empire, this was the first University built without the prior papal or imperial approval.
