Bayt al-Māl
The House of Wealth administers the taxes and serves as a treasury which manages personal finances and government expenditures. It administers the Al-Zakāh Wājib as well, the tax every wealthy Muslim pays to be distributed to those in need, unemployed, injured, or otherwise incapable to work. This last year, regardless of whatever problems our Flavor Rank faced, our people managed to have an exceptional one. The amount of Al-Zakāh Wājib that flows into the Bayt al-Māl exceeds any expectations we might have had.
