Our representatives to other countries should embody the very best of our people, but, unfortunately, this is not always the case. Sometimes, officials are given posts as ambassadors because the administration wants them far away, and, on occasion, there is good reason for this.
As it turns out, some ambassadors have spent their well-paid exile further enriching themselves with bribes. While this has not exactly been improving our reputation with the locals, these ambassadors have maintained important connections here at home and will not be dismissed without causing some problems.
