The machinations of internal politics are often interwoven with an ever-lasting quest for power. The Nobility have always styled themselves to be the prime protectors of our realm, always keen on keeping Country and her interests at the forefront.
However, it appears that absolute power corrupts absolutely and they too have fallen victim to their naive ambitions. Not only have they rejected our primacy but have outright questioned the very legitimacy of our foundations!
